Upper Extremity Anchors from Rifton

Anchor points affixed to desks, tables, sinks and other surfaces aid in upper extremity stabilization for people with hemiplegia or other special needs. Students or young adults with one side of the body affected may hold their affected limb in a “high guard” position in order to move and reach out with the other limb. Stabilizing one arm helps increase upper body control while the other arm performs activities of daily living. Each of these products affixes to a flat surface via a suction cup.

• One wrist anchor that can be used by either hand
